What is Chic Lady Crafts?

Chic Lady Crafts is a personality, a behavior, a lifestyle.  When you are working on your craft masterpiece, you have a certain style that you do it in.  Whether it’s bohemian, cutesy, or romantic, you have a crafting style that defines you.  You can be country chic, shabby chic, or, as we like to think of ourselves, more urban chic.  Of course, in the wonderful world of creating you are never bound to one style.  A Chic Lady can switch it up a bit.  It’s part of our uniqueness.

We are here to find the chic and unique in various crafting and DIY projects.  We will display projects from baking to scrapbooking to home decor, review products that will help improve your crafting world, have interviews with special guest crafters, and share some how-to’s through photos and video.

Definition of a Chic Lady:

A Chic Lady is a diva that likes to keep it clean and simple, classic, and chic of course!  She balances her work, home, and crafting life seamlessly (at least she tries to).

Where are you located?

We are located in the DC metropolitan area, but with an internet connection we are everywhere you are.  If you are in the DC area makes some noise!

When did your desire to scrapbook begin?

           

It began in 2001 when my high school English teacher invited me to a crop party. I instantly fell in love with this craft. It was until my senior year of college that I really started scrapping again.  Then as life happened, my scrapbooking and crafting would be off and on.  Now, we are on.  We are always on!
